Like surfers to the beach, skateboarders flock to alley ways. I don’t think I really noticed how much we hang in back alley spots until I got these rolls developed and saw how almost 90% of them are shot in the dingy dirt spots, the places that 90% of people never see of their own city.
My favourite part about skateboarding, is not just the people you meet, but the places you end up, you can feel like you’re on holidays in your own city if you go explore, and damn, being on holidays with your board can take you to places that back packer Bill and Bobby would never see and experience, the real side of a city. You can take every tour bus and guided trek in the world, but you’ll never have as much fun as four wheels, the streets and curiosity. God bless this wood for keeping people in touch with filthy and extraordinary.
