Acclaim Issue 25

If you haven’t already, make your way down to the store and pick up a copy of the new ACCLAIM Magazine. This issue pays homage to none other than our home, Australia. As Aussies, sometimes we’re so focused on what’s happening overseas that the amazing talent that’s here in our very own country is often overlooked. This issue we are staking our claim as a worldwide bastion of global style and culture and within it we celebrate creative Australians young and old, from across the country in one of their weightiest mag to date!
We were lucky enough to be involved in this issue, in a section that shone some light on some of the upcoming skateboarding companies around the country, which also included Pass~Port, Picture Wheels and The Bay.

We were asked to shoot a photo of the Butter Goods crew, a pretty lose term, and any skateboarder would know, crew sessions can be pretty large or low key depending on the day. So, we thought we’d go with the approach of getting a group photo with a the tight click who has helped us out along the way. Of course, not everyone we wanted could be involved, but we’re still super happy with the result. As much as Butter Goods is owned by Pidge & myself, there’s no way in the world we could do this without the help of these gentlemen. I can’t wait to look back on when I’m old and grey (and hopefully still doing this).

Big thanks to Alex and the crew at ACCLAIM for reaching out to us for this interview, you guys do an amazing thing for the local scene! and also huge thanks to Luke Thompson for shooting the photo, Luke has been a instrumental in helping us capture the essence and vibes we have inside our heads with his photo skills.
